Hi, my name is Rebecca Curry. I have a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education, having taught third grade, first grade, and kindergarten in BVSD. I have subbed in preschool through grade 7 over the past 16 years. I enjoy reading, hiking, skiing, biking, and traveling with my family.

“Rebecca has a positive and warm way of working with her students. She is always encouraging and proud of their accomplishments. My son has gained confidence in reading and spelling thanks to her work and background in OG. Rebecca has been generous with her materials for us to use at home as well as her time to conference about my sons growth and her future plans of working with him. We appreciate her expertise and look forward to continuing working with her.”
"Rebecca makes tutoring fun. She is upbeat and lighthearted. But, she is also super organized and very productive with the tutoring time. She makes use of every minute! Rebecca is very patient and encouraging with our son. He is wiggly and loves to talk off topic, and she's a master of steering him back on track kindly. When we contacted her at the beginning of the school year, our son was reading below grade level. At the end of this school year, he is now reading above grade level. More than anything, though, is his growth in self-confidence and enjoyment of reading."
